KLPGA: Vietnamese Victory For Hye Jin Choi

Hye Jin Choi got her first full season as a professional off to the best possible start, by claiming a two shot victory at the inaugural Hyousung Championship, in Vietnam.

A final round 68 was enough for the 18 year old to pick up her fourth win in 2017, two as an amateur and now the same tally as a professional. Let’s not forget how close she came to winning the U.S. Women’s Open too…Choi is the real deal and will be the one to beat, when the 2018 season resumes, in 2018…

One thing is for sure, Choi would have enjoyed the traditional winners ‘watering’ to help her cool down, after another sizzling day in Vietnam.

Gyeol Park finished in T-2nd, alongside Eun Bin Lim and Yeun Jung Seo. The trio, who are yet to win on the KLPGA Tour, will be very satisfied with their performances in the lovely Vietnamese sunshine. Now it’s back to the Korean cold for most of the ladies, assuming some will stay on in the sunshine for a while longer…
