A Season To Remember For Min Young And Sky

Rookie of the Year Min Young Lee will be very pleased when she looks back on her debut season in Japan. She may feel a little disappointed, having come so close to making it a clean sweep of the awards, but another second place finish to end the season is certainly a very positive addition to her results tally.

Three time winner this season Ha Neul Kim will also feel slightly disappointed, after losing her top spot late on in the season and failing to regain it. But three time winner sounds great…hopefully Sky can build on this for next season. 

It was local favourite Ai Suzuki who grabbed the two main end of season honours- the Mercedes Rankings and the Money List. This was the first time in four years that a Japanese player won the Player of the Year award. 

Although a Korean lady failed to win the Tour Championship Ricoh Cup, they did occupy 2nd-6th place, which further proves that it’s the Koreans that are the dominant force of yet another foreign Tour…
