As the JLPGA season draws to a close, its two top players – Ha Neul Kim and Min Young Lee have decided to sit out this weeks Hisako Higuchi tournament, to recharge and regroup before the duo resume their battle for top spot.
So can Bo Mee get back into the winner’s circle for the second time this year? This would certainly add some gloss to a disappointing year for the Tours most popular player, from outside Japan… she did win this title back in 2013…
It’s back to a three day event this week, with Jiyai Shin the defending champion. Coming off a second place finish last week and leading the seasons scoring average, it’s fair to say that Shin has every chance of going back to back.
Mi Jeong Jeon obviously loves this tournament too, having picked up the trophy three times. The record 26 time JLPGA winner may just make it 27 this week. Let’s just hope the umbrellas aren’t needed again!
