KT Kim returns to this week’s ABC Championship as a double former champion, picking up wins in 2010 and 2015- back when he was close to invincible in Japan, in which he picked up five of his thirteen JGTO wins.
Kim’s victory back in 2010 was his third of the year. He pipped Ryo Ishikawa to the title by one shot. The duo are paired together for the opening two rounds this week.
After winning eight times in the two years prior to 2017, this year has been a much more challenging one for Kim. Six top ten finishes from twenty five starts will seem like an underwhelming season so far for the current world number 123, who started the year as number 57.
As many golf fans know, one good week for any professional golfer on any Tour, can change everything. There is no reason why KT cannot turn his season around this week. We shall wait and see…
