KPGA: Choi Hoping For One Better At Dream Park

A late rally on the back nine at last week’s Daegu Open proved to be one shot too short for Jinho Choi. Having already won twice this year, the next few months are without doubt the biggest of Choi’s career, as he aims to finish on top of the Order of Merit, thus securing a full European Tour card for 2018.

Junghwan Lee currently leads the Order of Merit aka the Genesis Points, adding numerous solid performances and results to his maiden win at the Caido Series Golden V1 Open. Choi cut the deficit last week, as Lee struggled to maintain his consistent form, making this week even more important in the race for the European Tour card.

Sandwiched in between Lee and Choi, is Hyungjoon Lee, also a winner of a Caido Series tournament at Gunsan CC, earlier this season. If any of this trio can get into contention and possibly win this week, they will take over the initiative from the others. It looks like we are in for an exciting second half to the KPGA season!
