The second week of July is quickly turning into Min Young Lee’s favourite time of year. This time last year, Lee won the Kumho Tire Ladies Open in China, but decided against defending it this week, as she is now a full time JLPGA player. Her decision proved to be the correct one!
Lee cruised to a comfortable victory, that never looked in doubt, as she started the final round with a five shot lead. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many prizes for one winner, and there were more, but my photo collage app is limited to nine photos!
It was another impressive week for Ha Neul Kim, as she claimed the runner up spot for herself, although a massive six shots behind Lee. Kim will now make a rare trip to America for the U.S. Womens Open.
Shinae Ahn enjoyed her best finished ever in Japan, with her T-13th finish. Ahn’s form is slowly progressing and one can only imagine the reaction if she was to win in Japan this season, or even back in Korea for that matter!
First up, I suppose I better say hello and thank you for visiting my website, whoever you are. I teach, I write, I caddy, I write, I travel, I write. Mostly, about golf if that interests you. Usually interviews for various publications and blog about my caddy adventures.
