KLPGA: Oh, Jang And Kim Chasing Multiple Wins

A fourth place finish at last week’s Korea Women’s Open will provide Ji Hyun Oh will some added confidence ahead of her BC Hankyung Ladies Cup defence. Oh will have her work cut out to produce a successful defence of her title, but it is certainly not beyond her to do so.

With this week’s tournament sponsor BC Card also being one of Ha Na Jangs sponsors, there’s no doubting who they will be cheering for… it seems almost inevitable that Jang will win soon and a victory this week would not be a big surprise.

There’s no doubting who the current in form player is on the KLPGA Tour. Ji Hyun Kim has won the last two events and three in the past six weeks. She just had to wait eight years for her first win…Kim is in the form of her career at the moment and should be in contention again.

Jeong Eun Lee has been Kim’s main challenger over the past few weeks and seems destined to add another title to her season opening tournament victory in Jeju. She has, in our opinion, the best swing on Tour and is arguably the best player so far this season.

The BC Card Hankyung Ladies Cup starts on Thursday until Sunday, unlike the usual three day KLPGA Tour tournaments.
