It’s been an incredible few weeks for Ji Hyun Kim. Winning her first KLPGA Tour title on April 30th was undoubtedly the highlight of her professional career, which started back in 2009. Kim then backed this up with another win last week in Jeju, and now this…the Korea Women’s Open title!
Kim is a prime example of how fascinating the game of golf is and will always be. Having been left frustrated since joining the KLPGA Tour back in 2009, Kims persistence eventually paid off at the KFC Ladies Open back in April. She followed this up last week at the S-Oil Championship last week in Jeju. But winning her national open tops off an incredible 7 weeks for Kim.
It was yet another impressive performance and result for Korean amateur Hye Jin Choi, who finished tied fourth. Choi is continuing to excel at every tournament she plays in. She is another example of the strength in depth amongst Korean ladies golf.
