Trailing by two shots with three holes to play, defending champion Hae Rym Kim produced an incredible finish to successfully retain her KLPGA Kyochon Honey Ladies Open title earlier today.
A birdie on sixteen would have given Kim hope of a possible playoff, lying one behind with two to play. Well it seems she had other ideas…Kim stepped up to hit her second shot to the par four 17th from the centre of the fairway, giving her the chance for a potential birdie opportunity, this wasn’t the case. Instead the ball dropped into the hole for an incredible eagle to hand Kim a one shot leading heading up the last. She parred the last to claim successfully defend her title.
