After being in pole position over the weekend, Jung Gon Hwang was unable to hold on for his fourth Japan Tour victory.
A bogey on the penultimate hole cost Hwang the chance of a place in the playoff, as he slipped to a tie for third.
Seung Hyuk Kim finished alongside Hwang after shooting a final round 69. Both players will have very mixed feelings about the outcome, as Hwang looked to be on course to claim victory, whereas Kim always seemed just too far back and failed to birdie 18, as did Hwang.
One shot back in tied sixth was IJ Jang and KT Kim on nine under. Min Gyu Cho (-7), Sungjae Im (-5) and Hyung Sung Kim (-5) also recorded a top fifteen finish.
