Both Jeunghun Wang and Soomin Lee have failed to make the halfway cut at the European Tour Dubai Desert Classic, although a weather delay meant that Wang had to wait until the completion of round 2 on Saturday, to see if the cut line moved in his favour.
Wang showed signs of mental tiredness after last week, as he dropped 6 shots in his last fourteen holes, to miss the cut by two on +3.
Lee, on the other hand, is really struggling for form at the moment. Rounds of 78 and 77 left him down near the bottom of the field.
Next week’s Maybank Malaysian Championship will offer up Lee some optimism, after a second place finish there last year, although he should have won and this year the venue has changed to Surabaya Country Club.
